Moises A. Medina

Attorney Moises A. Medina was born in Villaldama, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. His parents brought him to the United States as a young child to provide him and his brothers better opportunities. Mr. Medina received his Bachelor’s Degree in History at the University of North Texas in Denton where he graduated with honors. After undergraduate school, Mr. Medina was accepted into Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota, where he served as an associate editor of the Hamline Law Review and received a CALI award for excellence in Immigration Law

Scott MacKenzie

Donald Scott Mackenzie is licensed to practice law by the State Bar of Texas with a J.D. from SMU Dedman School of Law in Dallas. He is a graduate of California Polytechnic University in San Luis Obispo where he received a Bachelor of Science in 1994. He has been in private practice since obtaining his license in 2002 and practices in the areas of criminal defense, family law, injury litigation, and immigration. Prior to his legal practice, Mr. Mackenzie was employed in the energy and transportation industries. He is licensed by and a member in good standing of the State Bar of Texas, the Dallas Court of Appeals, The United States District Courts of the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas, and the U.S. Tax Court. He is a member the Dallas Bar Association and the Electronic Frontier Foundation.

Kavitha Mathew

Kavitha Mathew is licensed to practice law by the State Bar of Texas with a J.D. from SMU Dedman School of Law in Dallas. She was born in Kerala, India, and immigrated to the United States after completing her engineering degree there. Ms. Mathew has extensive experience in family, criminal, and immigration law.

Rafael Valbuena

Rafael R. Valbuena was born in San Felipe, Yaracuy, Venezuela. He worked as a paralegal for over 10 years before deciding to become an attorney himself. Mr. Valbuena recently obtained his J.D. from the University of North Texas at Dallas College of Law and is currently awaiting his Texas Bar exam results.

Paul Cross

Paul H. Cross is licensed to practice law in Texas and Oklahoma. He graduated with a J.D. from the University of Tulsa in 1985. Mr. Cross specializes in personal injury and commercial litigation and transactions with an emphasis on representation of financial institutions and equipment lessors in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and throughout North Texas.

Elizabeth Schefer

Elizabeth Schefer was born in Dallas, Texas. She graduated from Newman Smith High School in 2013 and is a future attorney in the making. Ms. Schefer assists with scheduling, legal document preparation, and the organization and maintenance of client files. She also answers the phone and assists clients with any questions or concerns they may have.
